About Limuless
Limuless’ journey began in a small attic laboratory, but they now operate from the Cumberland Emerging Technologies incubator space in downtown Nashville.
As Nashville's biotechnology and start-up scenes continue to thrive, Limuless is proud to be part of this dynamic community. The team graduated from the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Pre-Flight program and have worked with Launch Tennessee to secure a microgrant for SBIR support. The Limuless team also volunteers with the advocacy arm of Life Science Tennessee, where they work to promote the life science industry to the General Assembly.
At Limuless, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions to address global challenges. Our mission is to save the horseshoe-crab, and lower the cost of the LAL assay to expand accessibility to a variety of industries, including food production. We are focused on creating an accurate, easy-to-use assay that enhances public safety. For example, our technology could be used to test buffet lettuce or pet food, ensuring safety across different sectors.

Meet Our Team
​At Limuless, our dynamic team is led by husband-and-wife duo Jennifer and Richard. Jennifer serves as CEO and CSO; Richard serves as the CTO. With a shared background in engineering, they successfully raised pre-seed funding and launched the company after relocating to Nashville in 2016, bringing their vision for innovation in biotech to life.
Dr. Jennifer Watson

With a strong background in engineering and molecular biology, Dr. Watson leads the team with a commitment to innovation and scientific excellence. She combines her expertise in biotechnology with strategic business insights, driving Limuless forward. Her visionary leadership ensures the company stays on course to achieve its mission and long-term goals.

Richard Hatcher
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
​Richard brings extensive technical expertise and a deep passion for innovation to Limuless. He played a key role in bringing much of Limuless' equipment to life, often repairing used items purchased from eBay. His skill in equipment maintenance and data management drives continuous improvements and the evolution of our products. Outside of Limuless, Richard builds fighter robots.
